Bose persists on their design philosophy. The company showed off a prototype of new Bose Earbuds 500 true wireless earbuds at the company event at New York City hotel on Wednesday.
This model has the same housings’ design as Bose Soundsports Free with the signature Bose StayHear+ Sport tips. And Bose earbuds 500 could be named the second generation.
StayHear+ Sport tips are great for workout. The tips have a sports wing for secure fit and eartips to seal in the ear.
Though Bose has reduced the size of Bose earbuds 500 compared to Soundsports Free, they still doesn’t look discreetly. But since they are lightweight and water resistant plus fit comfortably, that would be a good set for sports.
The details about features were not unvailed but we’ve expected it has touch control and quick charging feature (15 min of charging gives a couple of hours listening)
ANC feature unfortunately wont’ be a part of Bose 500 – I have been waiting for this feature, which Sony will advance with Sony WF-1000XM3.
Speaking of the sound, the Bose 500 may sound better and due to the unsealed (open) eartips it won’t be the bass enhanced or audiophile graded earbuds.
Bose earbuds 500 are available in white, black and blue and will be shipped in late 2019 and they would take on the Beats’ Powerbeats Pro.
Along side with Bose Earbuds 500, Bose also released the Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 at the event.
