Dual ANC Microphones + BA & ø10mm DD
Great TWS earbuds are the ones that reproduce the sound in the way that the artist intended.TheBestEarbuds.Com
A lot of factors are involved in this sound reproduction process like overall frequency response, distortion (when the volume varies the sound of instrumentals, vocals mixed in the track may break up, if these are well controlled, we call low-distortion) and sound isolation performance.
To evaluate earbuds’ sound reproduction, THX Certification establishes a set of industry standards for audio reproduction of earbuds and other audio devices.
The 1More Active noise cancelling true wireless earbuds (ANC TWS) with model name EHD9001TA are the first to get this certification and the features rewarded by THX include 1More’s in-house QuietMax technology and hybrid ANC techniques.
This certification doesn’t mean the 1More ANC TWS get new features or Bluetooth chipset upgrade. Initially I thought it will get new Qualcomm QCC514x with SoC that has adaptive ANC function – innovative feature that adjust the ANC effective in real time based on how earbuds sit in the ear, but it’s just firmware update to version 3.62, and the only products released later than June 2020 will have THX certification according to the company’s press release.
As hour head move all the time, we won’t get the tight seal and when ANC is set at different levels or off it will change how the earbuds sound. Sound strange? I bet you never get the consistent sound.
The 1More ANC TWS sound significantly different between ANC ON and ANC OFF. We hear more bass when ANC is turned ON, is that 1More configured the bass boost when we trigger ANC or it’s just ANC doing the job to seal the sound in instead of physical noise isolation created by eartips.
The initial sets of 1More ANC TWS got issues for the sound, but after firmware update, things get better, so the firmware 3.62 would be the final fix.

Package & Accessories
Impressive! open the box just tap the logo 1More on the magnetic box.
- Charging cable Type-C
- 3 pairs of regular eartips and 3 pairs of 1More eartips that provide less shallow fit
- A travel pouch
- A wireless charging case
- A pair of earbuds
Our battery test: the 1More TWS ANC can last for approximately 6 hours. 15 min for fast charging is not impressive for 2 hours of listening. The battery life also depends on which devices they are connected to preferably phones with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 and up would make the most out of the functions that earbuds’ QCC3034 Bluetooth processor have like true wireless tech, ultra-low power consumption, aptX and low latency.
Unlike AirPods pairing with iPhone, we do a bit manually here. Check out
Comfort & Fit
Come with a lot of type of eartips and size, you certainly will find the best pair fit perfectly in to the ear.
Good call quality but not great, other with long stem design still deliver better call quality.
Audio quality was at first not highly appreciated, but after firmware update the ANC sound gets improved.
Transparency mode and ANC are OFF
The combination of BA and DD seems to work though frankly the transition between ranges is not that smooth. The treble is configured quite far from the mid-range, giving unpleasant listening experience. There is probably some bass kicked in but it’s not a big impact.
Transparency mode or ANC is ON
After firmware update, the bass boost iss less effective, making the sound close matched to the sound profile when ANC is off
